Senior Partnerships Manager, DonorsChooseWhat to look for and where to begin building and maintaining cross-sector partnerships for your start-up. The goal of this Fundamentals workshop is to teach participants how to best establish and leverage the power and resources of partnerships to scale their work.
Dan develops, executes, and manages corporate and foundation partnerships at DonorsChoose.org. He helps partners, ranging from the NFL to General Growth Properties, strategically provide teachers with the materials their students need to learn and thrive. He joined the team in 2010 and previously worked as a Community Director for the Connecticut Chapter of the March of Dimes. Dan also served as an AmeriCorps member in Federal Way, WA, tutoring potential first generation college students and instructing English language learning students. Dan is the son of a public school teacher and he holds a BA in Urban and Community Studies from the University of Connecticut where he lived in a log cabin.
